tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69241432233895555932011-11-28T01:01:36.662+01:00rappinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07774638220772345114noreply@blogger.comBlogger11100tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6924143223389555593.post-87602338373645669622007-09-19T23:15:00.000+02:002007-09-19T23:17:36.843+02:00<div style="text-align: justify;" class="storyintro"> <p>A MAN who committed a string of violent sex attacks across Melbourne humiliated his victims, including a pregnant woman he attacked in front of her two children, a court has been told.</p> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"> The man, who cannot be identified, has pleaded guilty to 13 charges, including rape, indecent assault and aggravated burglary.<br /><br />He attacked six women, aged from 17 to 45, between April 24 and August 17, 2005.<br /><span class="" style="display: block;" id="formatbar_JustifyFull" title="Justify Full" onmouseover="ButtonHoverOn(this);" onmouseout="ButtonHoverOff(this);" onmouseup="" onmousedown="CheckFormatting(event);FormatbarButton('richeditorframe', this, 13);ButtonMouseDown(this);"><img src="img/gl.align.full.gif" alt="Justify Full" border="0" /></span><br />The County Court in Melbourne was told today police had matched samples taken from the victims to the man's DNA.<br /><br />In four of his attacks he grabbed women as they walked along streets in Melbourne's northern suburbs.<br /><br />On another occasion he threatened one of his victims after he forced his way into her car and she tried to escape.<br /><br />The prosecutor said the man told the woman "you bitch, don't try that one on me again, or I'll shoot you".<br /><br />The court was told the man made some of his victims perform oral sex on him, before he raped or indecently assaulted them.<br /><br />The prosecutor said the man had humiliated one after she repeatedly refused to perform oral sex.<br /><br />"Ejaculating in her mouth was humiliating,'' she said.<br /><br />The man assaulted and robbed a sixth woman, who was pregnant and had two young children with her, after entering her house.<br /><br />He was arrested two days later on August 19, 2005, after police executed a search warrant on his Melbourne home.<br /><br />The court was read portions of the Victim Impact Statements from two of the man's victims.<br /><br />One woman said she went home after the attack and cried in the shower before looking at her face in the mirror.<br /><br />''(It was) stricken and twisted with grief,'' she said in her statement.<br /><br />"I feel hopeless. I lost innocence, myself and my life.''<br /><br />Another victim said she had suffered anxiety attacks and had become withdrawn from her family as she tried to deal with the trauma of being raped.<br /><br />"I started using drugs as an escape,'' her statement said.<br /><br />"I still can't walk down the street night or day without thinking someone is behind me.<br /><br />"I don't wish him dead, but I want him to go through the pain I have.''<br /><br />The man's lawyer told the court his client was ashamed and remorseful for his actions.<br /><br />The prosecution argued the court should consider a minimum jail term of between 13 to 17 years.<br /><br />The man will be sentenced in October.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/6924143223389555593-8760233837364566962?l=hot-latest-news.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>rappinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07774638220772345114noreply@blogger.com0
